Valencian Village "La Pobla de Vallbona" to Host First European Journalism Conference

(Youth Press) Young people, professionals and experts in communication from all over Europe will get together in La Pobla de Vallbona, Valencia, Spain, from the 7th to the 10th May 2009 for the first ever festival of journalism in Europe.

The event will explore new ways and means to presentEuropein the media and the role of the new young reporters in this field.

This international event to mark Europe Day is organized by the Country Council of la Pobla de Vallbona along withEurope's most distinctive Web TV for young people Europocket TV.

The Ethical Journalism Initiative is a global campaign of programmes and activities to support and strengthen quality in media. It was adopted by the World Congress of the IFJ in Moscow in 2007 and was formally launched in 2008.
