Upcoming Asia Media Forum to discuss journalism in times of crisis

(IJnet)Media in times of crisis will be the theme of this year's Asia Media Conference to be held March 25 to 27, in Bangkok, Thailand. Journalists, subject experts, civil society activists and policy makers from throughout Asia are expected to participate.
The conference, hosted by the Asia Media Forum (AMF), will discuss the implications of the ongoing crises in the arenas of economy, environment, food and governance, and try to come up with proposals to address the effects of such crises. Also to be discussed are increasing instances of terrorism, deficit of democracy and potential risk of conflict and natural calamities, and their impact on the media in Asia.
