(Ijnet) Young professionals interested in the field of conflict-journalism may now apply to attend a "Media in Conflicts Seminar" (MICS) to be held in Herzliya, Israel, from June 13 to 17.
The seminar will focus on the difficulties of reporting in conflict situations and will attempt to provide the skills necessary to promote balanced coverage. Selected journalists will receive full sponsorship for accommodation, transportation and meals while in country. Participants must provide for transportation to and from Israel. Herzliya is located 10 minutes from Tel-Aviv.
