Media and the Financial Crisis: Time for Self-reflection

The EJC will hold an international conference on the media's role in the economic downturn. On the agenda: how media may have contributed to the crisis, and how to improve coverage of the present and possible future crises. The event will connect media professionals, academics, and authorities and will offer an opportunity to learn from each other at a crucial time for Europe's social economies. The event recognises the deep changes faced by the media industry, but sees them as a window of opportunity to question the status quo.
