Euronews to launch Turkish language service

(blog RNW)TV channel Euronews and Turkey’s state-run television and radio broadcaster TRT have reached an agreement to launch broadcasts in the Turkish language starting in 2010. The Turkish broadcasts will target the Turkish population residing in the Caucasus, Central Asia and Europe. 20 journalists of TRT will be sent to Euronews headquarters in Lyon, France.
