500 Journalists Gather in Brazil for Training in Investigative reporting

(KnightCenter) Approximately 500 journalism professionals, students, and professors met inSão Pauloon 9-11 July to attend the 4th Congress of the Brazilian Association for Investigative Journalism (Abraji).

The event, co-sponsored by theKnightCenterfor Journalism in theAmericas, featured 62 presenters in 50 workshops and seminars that covered a broad scope of investigative topics, including the economy, sports, technology, drug trafficking, and the environment. Participants ranged from journalism students from all overBrazilto international speakers from other Latin American countries and theUnited States.
